I love Wyandottes, but I don't have any. So does anyone know where I could get some chicks in Virginia. I'll take any, as long as they're laced.

Quote: I think next Spring, around the end of April. I would like to get two of each. Do you know if they get along well with Barred Rocks, because I also would like them. If they don't, I will get three of each. Where are you in VA, I'm near Fredericksburg.
Most breeders have chicks in the spring and sell grow outs in the fall. Check Facebook-there are lots of breeder out there and several sales pages.

OK, I'll look on Facebook. Do you know of any breeders in Virginia?
Ok, so I was not thinking last night. I was going to be breeding the Golden laced, but I had a predator attack a few weeks ago and lost my rooster. I will be selling the Silver laced though. I am about 5 hours from Fburg. I live in SW va. I am pretty sure that Barred Rocks and Wyandottes get along well. Unless one breed is just really aggressive, you can almost always make birds of different breeds get along together. I will be selling the SLW's by next year in April.I think next Spring, around the end of April. I would like to get two of each. Quote: Sorry about your rooster, I lost three hens to a raccoon a few months ago. OK, good that they get along well. It's OK about only the SLW I would still probably get them. 5 hours might be a little far though...
Wow, he is stunning.
Is this a cockerel? 6 weeks old today
