Things you never said until you had chickens.......

when my youngest daughter helps me gather eggs, i keep getting eggs labeled "S.L. Y and . ". it took me forever to figure out what that was.

I made my hens some seed cake and when he walked in the house it smelled so good he thought it was a treat for us! lol

Can you post how you made the seed cake please? Mine is (picking one of my buff orpingtons) peck me again and there is a roasting pan with your name on it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
