After a complete failure and then a two out of twelve hatch, I finally got fourteen of sixteen eggs to lockdown. Three have popped out today, which is a hair early.

I'm hatching shipped eggs - half Mottled Houdans and half BLR Wyandottes with possible SL Wyandotte crosses in an LG with a turner. I've ordered a bigger, homemade incubator with a fan, but it's not here yet. Three is huge for me!

Here's the first one, a Wyandotte:

So cute!
Keep trying. Sometimes you can get bad hatch, sometimes excellent hatch.

The count's at six, two Houdans and four Wyandottes. One more is pipping, and I hope to see some more activity from the Houdan side soon.
