Has anyone had any luck at all with a Top Hatch incubator? I bought one for my first incubator and had horrible results with it. I recently bought 3 incubator thermometers and drilled holes into the Top Hatch and used grommets to secure the thermometers. The ones near the top read a little higher than the one on the side, but I cannot get it to hold a stable temperature for the life of me. I have it wrapped with towels for insulation but it is still all over the place.
After my first failed hatch in my Top Hatch, I bought a Brinsea Eco-20 octagon with automatic turner and have had real good success with it. I Just went 17 of 24 earlier this week and that was partially due to 4 eggs not being fertile. I might just buy another Brinsea and take the loss on the Top Hatch.
Any suggestions?
