Top Ten Worming and Wormer Misinformations - Graphic Pictures!

Giving this thread a bump. Is there anything you can do to lessen the worm load/worm eggs in the soil of your run? I have a covered 10x10 run (very dry) with an uncovered 10x6 run plus 20 feet of open space under pine & apple trees (can be very wet after rain). My flock does get about 4 hours a day of free ranging after I get home from work. Any thoughts?

We have this on-hand, since we have horses. Could chickens have this?

I know your bag has different instructions, but you should know that to treat worms effectively in chickens, dogs and cats, they get 10 times the amount that horse, goats and cows get.

Kathy usually tells people to give the SafeGuard at 1/4 ml per pound of of the weight for 5 days in a row, which will treat most hard to get worms. Kathy correct this if I am misquoting you.
