urgent pea chick help

Do you have the other chicks in a brooder? If so you can place the peachick in with them and it should be fine. Be careful with the chick in a styrofoam incubator if that is what you have cause if it has a fan and no fan guard the chick can get caught in the fan and get scalped. The 2 week old chicks will actually get the pea to start eating and drinking in a couple days

purple pied baby. Could only afford one so stole a 2 day old chick from my hen to be his buddy. First day without buddy he didn't eat or drink and called and called. It had been in brooder with about 20 chicks. As soon as I put the bitty in with it she (i hope) settled and quit calling then started pecking around. Next day both very active and eating and drinking. No sad peeping
