Urgent : Uknown disease effecting quails

Hey guys,

Out of nowhere concerning looking growths have shown up on my quails and their skin is green? Anyone know what is happening and how i can treat it?

Also only the girls are now sitting and wont get up.

Those look like bird bruises.....

The green looks like bruising to me. The head injuries look like quail on quail aggression. How many males to females do you have?

The first and last photo are my boys, i have two hutch's, one with one boy and two girls and one with a boy and a girl

I also didn't get a great photo but the first picture, that is a lump and its protruding significantly from his chest which is whats concerning.

tumor/scar tissue build-up/ maybe jumped and hit the chest bone on something/abscess/feather cyst

Your ratios are off. You barely have enough hens if you put all of them in with one male and get rid of the other. That is probably the cause of the aggression causing the head injuries.

The lump on the chest might be a tumor or a cyst, but the picture really isn't clear enough to tell. Is a vet an option? If it is a cyst, then I suspect you may have rats. How secure are your hutches?

This person knows their quail stuff!!! Trust them and their advice!! I read their articles and posts like a stalker I've learned so much from them!
