Hi all. I have been working on my chicken tractor, and am putting in some DIY windows. They are just openings plunge cut into the paneling, with plexi/polycarbonate behind. Nothing fancy. All my ventilation is handled otherwise in the coop. One window will be a little above their roosting bar, and the other will be near the floor.
Do chickens try to go through windows, or will they quickly learn to use the door and not bother the windows?
I could fashion some simple muntins to put in the openings to provide a visual queue that this opening is not for passing through.
