Or possibly "claim" to harvest? A pelt in the hand is worth two on in the dam

Sorry - "lodge" is the correct term - my recent beaver experience speaks volumes

'Wessie' the Presumpscot River python in Westbrook Maine has not been seen since it was observed eating a beaver by two police officers. The moral to the story - Pythons should beware of beavers.

We should all be aware of 'em - those incisors and pythons could never be a good combo. Brings tears to the eyes
