I am thinking that most everybody in this thread will agree that dying the chicks for your personal enjoyment is okay, we are against businesses doing it, and selling them to the public.

What's lacking isn't banning but common sense and respect for the animals. Use of those things avoids the need for heavy handed laws and regulations but so often they aren't used.

Well, I guess YOU could, but the rest of us prefer to live our lIves without being told how to do so.

My biggest problem with animal rights groups is that very thing. Most have the mentality that because some people are irrsponsible the majority is. If that were true, there would be no need for a site like this.
