Just kidding, but I want to know because I have a Buff and am considering an Australorp. I am curious to see pictures.

Any buff bird crossed with any black bird should make black with leakage unless they happen to have recessive genes that match up

The standard Buff Orpingtons are tan or golden colored...are they not?

It's all I've seen when I've done the crosses. Some maybe a tad darker in color, some lighter, some with more speckles. They vary alittle. Never solid in those areas.
