Definitely a small animal. Anything any bigger than a opossum would have killed poor Alice. Possibly the neighbor hood cat or a opossum.

Yes vetricyn works extremely well on almost every animal! I've tried on myself!

Have you done a grid inspection of her skin under her feathers to look for talon marks? They may have healed up already.

I bought a can of Dermoplast, which I can spray on the wound. It looks better today, so it must help.
