They dig out my neighbours have a fence and I talked to them and they know their dogs will be killed by me if they get close to my chickens but don’t really seem to care

How very sad that your neighbor has no respect for an animals life, be it her dogs that you told her you would kill or your chickens. When my neighbor's dog got out and jumped my fence where my free range rabbits were kept it killed my male. My husband carried the dead bunny down to his house and showed him what his dog did. He offered to pay the 90 dollars that I had in the rabbit getting it neutered. My female rabbit ended up mourning herself to death. The dog never got out again once he paid restitution for his dogs harm. I would tell my neighbor that they will be made to pay for any damages their dogs do to your property and animals. That might make them stop and think about it a little more. You can press charges to make this happen also.
