x2 while there are some exceptions, crossbred birds often have poorer carcasses than their purebred counterparts. Purebred birds are bred to increase the quantity of fast growing and good fleshing genes. Crossing them will hide any of the recessive genes and reduce the quantitive traits. Also Jersey Giants tend to grow slowly, which is how they get to their impressive size.A poor table Bird I would Say
