whats this worth?

I have heard some people like the little giant. When I posted on getting an incubator awhile back several people warned me off of the little giants. So I am not sure

Looks like a good deal if it works. Good luck if you bid and better luck on your hatches!!

ok pros/cons... pros, price if you can get it including shipping for less than a comparable new one.

cons... replacement plastic liners are difficult at best to find for the older models, so be wary of putting water in the channels. if it gets funky it's a pain to clean.

on the flip side, for a new comparable Hovabator, check out http://lllreptile.com/store/catalog/reptile-supplies/reptile-incubators/-/thermal-hova-bator-incubator1602n/
$39.95
plus shipping
or http://lllreptile.com/store/catalog/reptile-supplies/reptile-incubators/-/thermal-hova-bator-incubator-picture-window1582r/
$52.95
plus shipping...

I got both, shipped to me in VA for about $100... i use the 1602 as incubator and 1582 as my hatcher. added computer fans wired to old cell phone chargers to circulate air and good to go. been hatching almost weekly since october 21 in the hatcher, and rotating eggs thru the incubator. it's been running constantly since october 1st now, and solid as a rock. the hatcher is taken down and washed weekly between hatches.

edit: i did buy a used turner off ebay for about $35 with shipping and use that in the 1602...

honestly, for the difference i'd buy a new one. you don't know how old it is, and styrofoam doesn't tend to age well, it becomes brittle.
