When do Easter Egger Bantams lay eggs? Mine hatched July 19th 2021😥

My girls are all freeloading too! They were born in May. I'm throwing a party when the first egg shows up!

Yeah I know all you guys are going to laugh but I occasionally feed them cayenne pepper now to encourage them to "mature faster"...its clearly NOT working atm I did research and there is a scientific paper on its efficacy so it's not necessarily anecdotal

Honestly they gobble it up out of my hand! All my girls seem to enjoy eating it Maybe they are embracing the fiesty lifestyle

Alright guys so I finally have laying pullets!!! I think one started January 28, the other the 29th! The eggs are soooo cute and small. I am not sure what color one of them is laying but unfortunately I think it's not blue. I have confirmed one of them DOES lay a pretty blue so at least that is a plus!

Thank you! I finally gave up on them and told myself I won't keep checking anymore. Then they started laying I have 4 laying out of 8 bantams! I didn't realize how small their eggs truly were
