Which geese are best as pets?

Better safe than sorry. Almost all geese can fly well enough to get off the ground and over a fence if they want to.

Yeah that's what I figured I had thought about getting African at first. The super African I mean since they had no flying capability but really wanted the pilgrims.

I have Africans pomerian buffs Toulouse and Roman tufts they make great pets they all get along. They are all friendly they follow me around w/ chickens and duck. One of my geese has a clutch of ducks she tends and scolds every day.

I got 6 goslings from Metzer last year. Two are White Chinese and the other four are Embden. None of them can fly at all. Two of the Embdens hiss and one attacks. The attack bird will grab and hang on and has gone after other birds, dogs, and me. I grab her around the neck for a few seconds till she backs off. The Embden can be sexed at hatch with the males being silvery gray and the females a much darker gray.
