The trick to getting good texture on the moon is shooting with a tripod with a very low ISO. I had good results with an ISO of 400. The picture is sort of flat right out of the camera, but a little work on photoshop with the sharp mask and a good crop fixes the picture up nicely. I want to see your moon pics! I took this one with a zoom of 300mm.

I cropped this image, but I haven't done any touching up. The night I took this pic it was quite foggy and that was interfering with my ability to good a good focus. This was taken during a break in the fog. I think that is why the contrast isn't very good.

100mm zoom (which is the limit for my lense), 200 ISO, 8 sec. exposure, 2.8f.

I like macro photography too.

That moon picture isn't bad at all! With a little touching up on photoshop you can really bring out the contrast.

I like your shrimp pictures too! I haven't tried water pictures yet with my new camera. I would really like to get a macro lens though. Macro is definitely a favorite style of mine!

I love photography & might possibly go to school for it, i have a Fujifilm Finepix S1500 pretty nice camera still trying to figure it out my main subject of interest are animals i have about 8000 pics on my computer i would really hate for it to break lol I have some of my pictures copyrighted
