That would be a Eastern Rosella

they are quite common around here.. it was having a snack of the little seed things the silver birch tree produces. They are a native bird.

*sigh* i wish i could say pretty tropical parots where a native bird around here. We're credited for deer and wolves and that about sums it up for wildlife
