I've finally had some time to take pictures lately and it's been absolutely lovely. I spent three hours at the local wildlife refuge, drove out to the dam, and found a bunch of bald eagles along the Mississippi river!
Unfortunately, I haven't really gotten a good chance to pick through my pictures just yet. I'm going to post a couple my friend edited for me and put my name on. I still don't know how to edit... I should probably learn, huh?
Just curious, does anyone know what that bird is in the last picture? I'm terrible at identifying birds. Sparrow, possibly?

Great photos are a result of a good eye timing and being in the right place at the right time and of course talent.
I believe the talent can be learned, the good eye is a whole different thing.
Sorry it's been so long, been having trouble learning the new format here.
Anyway, I think it's finally spring. The yard is awash in these little blue flowers and there's a lone iris already in bloom, surrounded by its barely budded brethren.
