Well, I bought the book, and definitely have the enthusiasm to build a plucker, but also have a question. What type of motor did y'all use? I have the specs from the book, but if you found a used motor, what'd it come out or off of? Needless to say I'm hoping to do this without buying a new one if at all possible. Thanks!

I had an old table saw that had a 3/4 hp motor on it. The table saw had a bent blade axle so I kept the motor and trashed the saw.

I have a motor that came off a bin sweep that you clean grain bin out with.

3/4 hp it not farm duty not i dont see why it wont work.
