What is SOP?

SOP is the  Standard  Of  Perfection, the collection of standards American Poultry Association judges use to judge birds in chicken shows. It's a breed standard for chickens.

If your roosters are show quality then you might be able to get $30-60 for them depending on local prices. If they're hatchery quality my guess is you'd be lucky to get $5-10 each. But it really depends on what people in your area are looking for.

Hiya, and welcome to BYC!!

I have rarer upcoming porcelain and lemon cuckoo show quality silkies and if one's a rooster I wish to part with, I'd guess $20, maybe. I know it's no comparison, but it's all I'm familiar with. I wish you the best!
