Lowes has 2 Smartside products - one for $30 and one for $40. Don't know what the difference is.

Both are primed. The manufacturer says the only difference is the 38 Series is a nominal 3/8" thick (actual .315") and the 76 Series is a nominal 7/16" thick (actual .375").

Fantastic looking coop! How has it held up for you now that the colder months are here?

So far so good. Chickens finally started laying. The real cold is yet to come though. Being surrounded by tree brings it own set of challenges but it does a fine job of breaking wind.
