I agree with the others--you could spend less having someone build to specs.
On the other hand, if you can afford it, and want to save yourself the hammered fingernails, there are plenty of companies that advertise on BYC that will sell you an attractive coop building that is also built to accomodate birds, for about the price of THIS building.

BTW, does the little girl come with the coop?

If it's just to impress your neighbors, could you build a simple frame, with a gable roof and just keep it clean lined. I understand wanting it to look good, but don't break the bank. Have you checked out the catawba tractor? It's pretty, and has easy to follow plans. I forgot how many it holds though.

It looks like a nice building, but when you ask( Mr build for cheep), I will never pay that kind of money for this building, that's just me.

I did the same thing except a much cheaper ($250) and smaller play house made from red cedar. It is very sweet and it's nice to look at. I put solar landscaping lights inside so at night it looks like a little hobbit house. It took two days to assemble.
