Wyandotte vs. Silkie Roo

The site said it was a Silkie mix, so I guess not a true Silkie. I don't know, I'm a newbie. :)
Silkie mix just means it was mixed with some other breed. So, not 100% Silkie which is correct.

I seem to have missed the part of the post saying Silkie Mix.
 
Get the Wyandotte. It will introduce blue gene to offspring and is a better egg layer. If you have a bird go broody you might as well have them hatch better layers with cool color combinations.

Yeah, that was what I was thinking. Wyandottes are good birds. :)
