Yellow membrane while duckling is trying to zip. Is this bad?

Hey. I'm concerned. It's the first duckling to start zipping and the membrane is very yellow. It's currently day 27.

Is the membrane dry? Will it hatch ok? It's currently very active and starting to make a decent size hole.

Yellow is fine it’s when it’s brown we worry more
I just had one hatch that had the yellow
Baby is also yellow and feathers were sticking out. It’s not liquid like I first thought :)
But your baby looks like it’s making a big hole in one area and not going around the egg
Keep an eye on that
If it continues to make the hole bigger and not going around you will need ti zip the cap for it as it may have a leg over its head and unable to zip proper

Thanks for the reply!

He hatched. Actually rather quickly after I posted this. I was surprised.
