When you make a double batch of Split Pea Soup, so the ducks can have theirs after DH has his.

Yes, he does stand out there with them eating his pea soup while they eat theirs.

There is no such thing as making to much pea soup when you have ducks.

You make a special trip to the grocery store because "you're just about out of peas for the ducks." ... and if the store is out of the cheap frozen peas you buy the more expensive name brand rather than let your duckies go a day without.
