and... You love your family just as much for giving them the leftover corn and carrots at dinnertime. LOL

When you have one with a torn nail and make a sleeping box for them on your bed... and wake up with a bill in your face cuz she climbed out to sleep on your chest...

And the next night you give in and just put their blanket over your own and let them sleep on you... in the heat with no AC...

You know you love your duck when you tell your life long friend that your single, rescued duck is lonely & that you're making plans to drive 7 hours up to Metzers to get her a couple companions, and when she heartlessly suggests giving the duck away instead of doing a 14hr drive, you SERIOUSLY consider dropping your 40+yr friendship.
