Hello.

Im in north east Massachusetts and we have had 3 full grown hens for over a year now, and about 4 months ago, we got 12 chicks and now there are 7. Our coop as a run attached to the coop. currently the "Big three" are outside and the seven pullets are inside the coop. Lots of times now in the spring/summer, we let the big chickens out for a while, then let the chicks into the run, just so they get fresh air. this is the coop in the building phase but it has been fully completed for several months. Just so get an Idea of the sizes

Since it is getting hot ( Closer to high nineties somedays) the coop is getting really smelly and stuffy with all seven 3/4 grown pullets. I don't want them to get stuffy and any other issues that could occur. Im not very sure about integrating because the big three are pecking at them if I've let them together before, when is also where i think I screwed up, trying to put them together to early. I wish they could be together because the chicks are almost the same size, but they will be pecked at. I want them to live in harmony so they can live healthy, but since they are chickens, the pecking order won't allow it. The big three are productive Rode Island Reds, Black Australorp, and silver Laced Wyandotte.
