Got my chickens the first week in July and can't wait to have them start laying eggs. I live on a 3.5 acre small hobby farm in Monroe County Michigan. I have always loved the country life and can't wait to be in the egg bussiness. We plant a huge garden and next year plan on doing about an acre worth of sweetcorn. I will make it a u-pick sweetcorn patch so hopefully all works out well. I have a old chicken coop probably from the early 1900's that I have redone to house my 27 chicks. Would love to here from any other chicken fans in the area.
