Thanks for the pics - I have a roo with comb frostbite so was wondering if it would severely impact him and now I think he will be fine. Great to learn from those with experience - thanks for the article!
Pictures tell a 1000 words - I did something similar when I had a chick who was scratching her neck so much that she was injuring herself - I didn't know if she would make it. I made the tape boots with a t-shirt material on top instead of tape so it would be softer when/if she scratched. I even had to go on a 2-3 day work trip while she had boots on and I came back and she her neck was completely better. My DH didn't do anything special while I was gone.
