Love this coop, and I always enjoy rereading this article, but I especially appreciate the time spent with clarity documenting the trap nest build.

Excellent use of space and very well done! Love the colors and the picket door!
If I may make at least two suggestions, attach 1/2” hardware cloth (I used black coated) to the inside of your coop doors and to the studs above the coop to help keep out rodents and such. Even if you don’t have any now, once they discover the chickens something WILL try to get in, so a little added security is beneficial. You might also consider an exhaust fan of some type, several other BYCers have good examples you can look up.
