Overall good arrival.. Simple and to the point as a great guide or "rule of thumb" to get what you need based on elements. Great job!:thumbsup

I have 3 Silkies, all 6 months old (2 roos and one pullet). 10 silkies in the incubator and 21 sizzles in the incubator. All your characteristics are exactly on point, even the beaks. Only difference is, my 2nd silkie roo, does not crow, or shuffle around the pullet. But this may be due to his brother, being a more dominate roo, so he roosts on the poles and acts like a pullet lol.
But "Bravo!!!" You did excellent research here and tought me new things to look for as my new batch hatch.. Below are my 2 boys, and 1 girl

Very beautiful silkies you have! My lowest ranking rooster doesn't shuffle/herd either. I once saw him try but the pullet just pecked him in the head and he gave up. Maybe it was mean for me to do, but I laughed really hard!

Daily to weekly chicken maintenance.

Great insight to give those a tid bit of what they will be getting into.
Smart to know that its not just "get a cute chick and thats it"
Much more maintenance than a new puppy or finch in a cage... Little hits thats it's much greater of a responsibility

I have been thinking of letting my girls hatch a few of their eggs. But if I take it into my own hands, I'm better prepared now

https://www.backyardchickens.com/articles/hatching-eggs-with-a-broody-hen.75254/ thank you for your review. If you do decide on letting your hens hatch eggs, here is a another article I wrote not too long ago. Good luck with your hens
