I have found this to be very informative and definitely something any chicken owner should have on hand. I had a hen I noticed moving really slow one day right after cleaning up another hen from vent gleet. I felt her crop it was rock hard I had looked for everything under the sun to help her and I had her in my garage for a month and nothing was working. I did the cinnamon ginger mixture for a few days and it seemed like it help a little but wasn’t getting the job done. I said I might as well try the ACS so I ordered some and I put her back with the others while I waited for it to arrive. I figured I’ve done everything she isn’t moving slowly anymore she doesn’t see uncomfortable so if she passes she passes. It’s been a little over a week she still hasn’t passed felt her crop last night and it was smooshy not doughy felts like a normal end of day crop to me. And the ACS arrived today and I noticed the other girl still had vent gleet so I decided I will give them all the ACS for a week as a precaution to any bacteria that may be going around followed by probiotics of course. I hope this helps them all in the end. Great article.
