Well written good looking article about an interesting aspect of raising chickens. The only thing I can think of that’s missing is that chickens only convert 25% of what they eat into eggs and/or meat. The other 75% of what they eat is excreted as waste. So if you are really concerned about waste, it is necessary to utilize their manure to grow plants. If you have no way to use their manure, you can handle it in such a way that other gardeners can make good use of it instead. Chicken Manure is one of the main reasons I keep them.
