There are many good features about this build -- the plans, the parts list (I'd use more raccoon-proof locks), the cutting diagram, and the step-by-step instructions intended for people with limited DIY skills. I think that it could readily be duplicated by most beginning DIYers.
I can't quibble with the size since it's intended for only a pair of bantams and I think that the ventilation is probably adequate for use in a moderate climate if it's located in the shade. The use of the plumbing vent caps was very clever.
But I have 2 issues with the design:
First, I think that it would be difficult to gather eggs since it's necessary to bend down and reach inside to the back of the coop.
Second, the roof is both flat and made only of painted plywood. Thus it's likely to have rainwater pooling on top -- which would degrade the plywood and, in time, lead to leaks.
