Good job! I agree with you that hardware cloth is the best choice; however, you might want to talk about how to attach it and situations that might require something heavier like 2x4 or cattle panels. I unfortunately have a history of being outsmarted by predators. I have a few chicken tractors. After covering them with HW cloth, the coons jumped up and down on the lids until they pulled the staples out. I now use 2x4 wire attached with pipe hanging tape (led/aluminum) attached with screws covered with hardware cloth attached with screws and fender washers.

Avoid chicken wire. Invest in hardware cloth. It's worth it.
