A very nice coop article that had a nice walkthrough of the coop's building process. Article included the coop's measurements and mentioned the materials used throughout the build. I love the plastic roofing all the way across the roof and the moveable divider.
I love your start-to-finish and all the in-betweens. You did a great job explaining it for anyone who wants to build a coop like yours and so many good pointers even if it's going to be a different one. Cute chick!
P.S. About your light-sensitive chickens -- we use a black ceramic heat bulb in our brooder, then have an LED strip we turn off at night so they sleep in the dark with a little night light. That might help yours next time.
Thank you - the LED strip is a great idea, particularly since it's kind of dark in there even during the day because of the tree cover. Not so much in the winter! I'll look for a ceramic bulb next time - this time it was kind of a panicked "my heat plate isn't warm enough and my chicks are cold!" trip to Tractor Supply. Ah well.
