I'm sharing this design with a little embarrassment. It ain't pretty, but I love it. It cost about 200 dollars. That's it! We salvaged wood we already had and some from a construction site dumpster they said we could have all we wanted. We bought the pressure treated posts and wire. Its a wood shed. The doors are mounted with closet door rails and inside we were able to make up two separate coop areas. One for meatys and one for the Gingers. There is also space for all my gardening and chicken junk. Love that. I am putting this out not because its gorgeous to look at but because I want to show how easy it is to make a good home for your girls even if you COULD spend thousands, you don't have too. I still need to paint. But it has worked for over a year!
I had to put up pallets for now because our bloodhound decided chicken food was the best thing she EVER had! We are going to have to put in another pop door. Darn dog.
