I was absolutely fascinated by Lake Norman Coop de Ville and the Wichita Cabin coop so I set on a mission to build my own, by using their great photos as my only guide. It took me 2 full weeks of long nights and restless weekends to complete it.
Some differences:
Other than that, its basically the same coop. I couldn't be any happier with it!
Got 6 chicks. 2 ameraucanas, 2 silver lace wyandottes, 1 new hampshire red and 1 blk australorp.

Some differences:
- The cottage cream color (to match the house)
- I liked the idea to be able to take it with us if we ever moved, so I used Lake Norman's split idea.
- I'm not going all high-tech with the chicken door yet, so I went with Whichita Cabin's pull door system.
