My buff orpington chicken(I will call her by her name her name is mango so you don't get confused) has been sitting on eggs( she has 13 eggs under her and has done fine with them)and she only had 9-10 days left :thumbsup . I'm so excited but, we have 4-5 month old chickens in there(I will refer to them as the red chickens) with our layer to get used to the coop. No problem so far but, today I went out there and I noticed that the nesting boxes were empty of the hay we put in there. I wasn't to worried about it until I went out today and they were in the nesting box. I thought I would have a stinky mess of rotten eggs to my surprise everybody was fine or so I thought. I checked the last egg and i had a slight CRACKKKKK!!!!!! I did not break the outer membrane. I was so worried about the little chick. Now I believe it will be fine but, does anyone have any advice. I am open to anything(except throwing the egg away or ect.) from anyone that is helpful.🥚🥚🥚🥚🥚🥚🥚🥚🥚🥚🥚🥚🥚
