Wonderful and detailed explanations! Thank you. We have been thinking of purchasing a compound microscope for 3-4 years, for mushrooms. This is another reason, to purchase one. I'm looking at $250, plus needed slides, tubes, solutions.

My chickens are always seem like they are having worms, although I have not seen an actual one come out of them. Out of fear I regularly treat them for worms.
Now I can do this test before I treat them.

This is well explained and very easy to understand. With a small investment you can save alot by doing your own float tests avoiding unnecessary worming. Good job!
