I thought I can share this homemadde feeder. It's made of recycled coffee container (3lbs.) and plant pot dish 10" attached together by a 12 gauge galvanized wire.
Here are some photos:
Drill 2-3 2" holes at the bottom of the coffee container(which is now the top of the feeder) for feeds inlet. Attach the pot dish with galvanized wire as shown (crisscross) with the end portion bent 1/2" to secure it.
Insert the center wire (acting as a hanger) all the way to the bottom of the feeder then bend the end about 1/2" to secure it.
Hang the feeder as high as the back of the chickens. Works like a charm.
