This is going to be ongoing for me, I am more or less using this page to keep my flock organized lol. I have a lot of similar looking hens and have began the task of assigning names and ID banding them and I figured pics with their name on them would really help, plus I just have some other gorgeous EE girls that deserved a photoshoot! I have been making collages of my chickens then I had the brilliant idea of including the egg each one lays in the collage. So far I've only gotten one out of 25ish laying hens documented, so it is definitely a work in progress. I think it is fun for my egg customers to know where their breakfast comes from too, so I plan on sharing it on my Fluffy Butt Farm facebook page as well. I am slowly but surely getting good pictures of each of my girls (hard to do, all I have is a camera on my phone and it does not cooperate!) and will be updating them here as I go.

First and foremost, my sweet PJ's! She is one of my original flock and about the time she was 6 months old a cow broke into the chicken pen and stepped on her leg and broke it. She is fully recovered, but she still has a limp and therefore lives a pretty sheltered and spoiled lifestyle. Her favorite thing is sitting on my lap and having her head scratched.

This one is very near and dear to my heart. Sweet Miss Tillie. She is "visually challenged" as I like to say. Her story is here.

Our newest addition, Rusty, an Easter Egger hatched from my own birds. Someone snuck him in under one of my broodies and he was already pretty developed before I noticed. I put him under another broody who had eggs at about the same age as him, and he hatched 2 days early and had to come to work with me one day lol. I took him so she would not get off her nest until the rest hatched.

Some of my lovely easter egger girls, Tiggy & Twix were hatched out by the late Blondie.

My beautiful boy Phoenix an Easter Egger/Langshan mix hatched out by my sweet PJ's

Lilac is an EE Ameraucana mix, one of Twix and Tiggy's siblings, also hatched out by my late Blondie

Lilly is by far my favorite silkie, I just think she is so adorable!

B.B. or Broken Beak.... No idea what happened to this girl, but I have an ongoing fight with her beak. These pictures were taken after I trimmed it the first time, then after it grew back out. I used the tea bag/super glue method to patch the crack, but it just fell off a week later. Back to the drawing board this weekend, going to have round 2 of beak patching!

CHICKEN ART!
I recently discovered an app called Photo Lab and you can make beautiful pictures out of it! LOVE IT! Just for clucks and cackles, I will be uploading some of them here because I think they are gorgeous!

Like I said, this is a work in progress, far from complete & I will be updating this until I finally get everyone's picture included! Which is probably going to take a while LOL
