Ingredients:

1 box plain white cake mix
1 pkg. strawberry jello
1 c. mashed fresh strawberries w/ juice
1 c. vegetable oil
1/2 c. whole milk
4 eggs

Frosting:
8o pkg. cream cheese
1/2 stick butter
1 3/4 c. powdered sugar
1/2 can mashed strawberries, drained

Cooking Instructions

Preheat oven to 325° F. Lightly grease a 9 x 13 pan. Place cake mix, jello, mashed strawberries, oil, milk, and eggs in a large mixing bowl. Beat on low until everything is well blended. Pour into greased pan and bake until lightly brown, about 40 minutes. Remove from oven and allow to cool completely.

Combine cream cheese and butter. Mix on low for a minute. Add powder sugar and strawberries. Blend frosting on low until sugar is well blended.

Note: Tip for frosting: I usually mash/chop my strawberries and let them sit in a strainer the whole time the cake is baking and cooling. That way the strawberries are good and drained and won't make the icing to runny.
