Once we purchased our coop from Tractor Supply, we realized that it was not big enough and has no roosting bars inside the coop. It was a big mistake. I should have done my homework and been more prepared. I then purchased an Amish made coop that will house 20 chickens. It is the best purchase I ever make. My chickens were free range for a while, until they went next door and ate the neighbors flowers (LOL) Thank goodness she was not mad. I then decided to build a chicken run. For under $300.00 we built a 16' X 32' run. I am pretty proud of myself for the design and partaking in the building. Now our chicken ranch is complete. We have 2 chicken coops in the run and lots of space for the chickens to play
