I have this pic from a year ago of a young hen that died after laying a few eggs like this. Was just wondering if there is others playing around with this egg color. Im in Northern Ohio and thought it would be good to communicate and work with a few others to consistently get this egg color. This was a black (blue) ameraucana roo and a welsummer hen. My other just lays a green egg.
