This is my Great Grandma Dombrosky's Recipe taught to me by my Grandma Honey

Ingredients:
- Large pot or deep pan with lid
- 1 med-Lg head of Cabbage
- 1 box of Bowtie Noodles & pot to cook them
- 2-3 sticks of Butter (we use earth balance)
- Italian seasoning
- Garlic Powder (or some cloves of garlic)
- Onion Powder (or half an Onion)
- Salt
- Pepper

- Start by cutting up the cabbage, I usually just cut the whole thing up or tear the leaves up into chunks but you can shred it if you want.
-Set aside.
*While your cutting the cabbage you can Heat Pan to medium with the butter to melt.*
-Add 1-1/2 stick of butter to pan melt it.
--if you are using Raw Garlic and Onion simmer it in butter first. If you're using Powdered then skip this step.
- Add all of the cabbage to the melted butter and stir well to coat the leaves with the butter, t if using dry seasoning start adding them and mixing in, I usually season to taste by shaking the season evenly with a think layer across the top of the cabbage.
-Salt & pepper is to taste.
-reduce heat to simmer and let the cabbage simmer cooking slowly until brown.
Make sure you are stiring occasionally and add more butter if you need to, to keep from burning.
-Once the cabbage is browned Make the pasta as instructed on the box, drain then Add the cooked pasta to the Cabbage and simmer for 10ish minutes stirring well.
Enjoy!!

This has always been a holiday favorite in my family and it is one of those dishes that can be a side or eat a bowl for lunch. It also tastes the BEST the next day.
I personally use Earth Balance butter since we have some lactose intolerant in the household and it tastes amazing.
