I was wondering if someone had an idea for me, so I have two broody chickens at the moment, and one has a hatch chicken but she seems to reject it. I was wondering if I could try to introduce the rejected chick to the other broody hen. But when I showed the chick to her, the hen seemed to cluck a lot, over and over and looked like she was going to peck the chick. I’ve never introduce chicks before so I didnt know if that was a good sign or not, so I took the chick out and put her in the brooder. I was wondering if someone could tell me of that was a good sign, or like signals to look for at the hen if she’s rejecting it or accepting it.
