Love the coop. Currently building an 8 x 8 lean to shed / coop for our birds. Wanted exterior nesting boxes to maximize inside space for storage. Nice coop overall, but it seems small for the number of birds that the author wants to house there. Plans for the design would be nice if someone wanted to duplicate this coop.
About half the size needed for the number of birds in the article as desired population. No pictures of in process building makes this very hard to duplicate. There is just the mention of the extra studs in the nest box wall.
Very tidy coop, and evidently there were plans and more photos, but difficulties trying to upload them weren't overcome, so what's here doesn't reach its potential, and leaves questions, e.g. was the roof finished, and if so, with what? Were the changes to accommodate the smallest chicks permanent features or temporary? Were other adaptations made/planned once it was actually used? It seems small for the intended number of hens. All in all, the product doesn't quite live up to its ambitious name.
